The HOA has a list of pre-approved colors through a special arrangement with Sherwin Williams. They have the list and samples of our colors on file, and CHHOA members receive an automatic discount.

 

While you do not have to use their paint, any other brands must be color matched to the approved Sherwin Williams list.

 

Since paint palates change over time and colors go out of style, the Board is not grandfathering in older colors. If you wish to repaint "the same color that is on the house," you will need to find the closest matching Sherwin Williams color. [UPDATED 2021]

 

Before repainting, owners need to complete the ACC Request Form discussed below.

NOTE: The Sherwin Williams website shows all of the approved body/trim color combinations. 

The Architectural Control Committee Request form MUST be completed prior to painting, roofing, or making any structural changes or additions to the property. Print, complete and send or hand deliver to Targa Real Estate Company. Please be as specific as possible, as missing information will result in delayed decisions.

The HOA has specific guidelines for roofing materials and colors. The approved list is available to download. please note that even when selecting a "pre-approved" material and color, an ACC form MUST be submitted prior to initiating work.

Rules for Landlords & Tenants

If the owner does not reside on the property, specific rules for the owner and renter apply. Landlords are REQUIRED to have a current Owner Occupant form on file with the property management company. Failure to provide this information can result in fines. 

The Bylaws authorizes the Board to periodically draft rules and clarifications of existing covenants.
